Beta Versions Still Show

I really enjoy this program but it seems that no matter what the beta versions of some programs
still show themselves.
I already went through the menus and checked the box stating
"don't show me beta versions" but say for 7-zip the background still shows up red, when i have the
latest stable release.
Is this supposed to happen? And is there a way that I am only
notified when updates are given to stable realeases only/ |
